nice overall considering age, with minor surface wear commensurate with age and honest use, including minute knick to rim; the gadrooned base with a some occasional minute dings and a couple small and shallow dents; the handles show evidence of old solder reinforcements, particularly evident to one handle with a larger swath of solder at lower handle terminal, both handles with some old surface scratching around each handle terminal- possibly from the process of attaching handles to body; engraving remains crisp and distinct, and the hallmarks remain visible
