worked with polychrome silk threads on a wool ground, the top depicting Classical pavilion flanked by floral swags, with pious verse beneath, flanked by various motifs including flowers, baskets, hearts, crowns, birds, deer, lions, dogs, and owls, above landscape with large country house surrounded by trees farm animals, and stream, all surrounded by meandering vine border, framed.
16 1/2 x 11 1/2 inches (sight), 21 3/4 x 16 1/2 inches (frame).
