Appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. Even network of craquelure throughout. Some paint chipping along the edges from contact with the frame. The original canvas appears to have been cut down along the edges and laid to a stretched canvas; these cut edges are visible upon close inspection. Examination under UV light reveals several spots of inpainting. The frame with small chips in the gilding, one carved element on the right side is cracked, and another element on the left side is broken and lost. Additional images available upon request.
