Lot comprised of 10 photographs, most showing members of the 7th New York State Militia. Images in varying conditions though most feature some toning or fading, and spotting. Including:

2 photographs, each framed separately, showing 7th New York State Militia men in uniform. Titles include: Regimental Inspection, October 1861. -- Evacuation Day, November 1866. The soldier is shown in chasseur uniform. Each print measures 10 x 8 in., affixed to mount with title and date in lower margin, framed, 17 x 14 in. overall.

7 1/2 x 9 1/2 in. frame containing 3 albumen photographs of members of the 7th NYSM, approx. 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 in., mounted on cardstock with written caption below, "Camp Cameron May 1861." Chaplain S.H. Weston is depicted at left. -- 13 x 15 in. frame containing scrapbook page of Henry Wilson Hubbell, Jr., of the 40th NY, which includes 3 albumen photographs of the 7th NYSM at Camp Cameron in Washington in 1861. The images, approx. 3 x 6 in. or smaller, can be seen on both sides of the frame and are accompanied by period notations describing the scenes. (Soiling and toning to prints/scrapbook page). -- CDV of a member of the 7th NYSM set within a vibrant 20th century painting showing the 7th NY at camp, signed and dated by the artist, "Leni, '80." 12 x 9 3/4 in. -- Oval albumen photograph of a soldier seated in a studio, his cap on the table beside him. Modern note provided by consignor identifies the subject as a 7th New York Volunteer. New York: Julius Brill. The regiment, which was composed mostly of German immigrants, was organized in New York City and mustered into Union service on April 23, 1861, for two years. 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 in. photograph on original cardstock mount, framed, 14 x 12 in. overall.
