overall displaying signs of wear commensurate with age and use, including surface wear- the left-facing side in particular with some lightened water spotting; the drawer faces with some finish loss evident, from repeated polishing of the brass pulls; with some scattered lip repairs and patches to drawer face edges, including to upper right-most short drawer (with loss to corner), short drawer under the top right-most short drawer, and upper two long drawers; the 2nd from top-most long drawer with significant repaired break and area of loss along upper edge, and along bottom two corners, the areas of loss somewhat softened from use over time, and the escutcheon is presently rep-positioned and mis-aligned with the others; 2nd from bottom-most drawer with old loss along top left corner; the brasses appear to be original or period, and many have been re-positioned, including all the short drawers, and a couple escutcheons, the previous holes plugged, a couple bail pulls are detached but present; the cornice molding with area of loss along upper left-facing corner; there is a rectangular patch to right-facing side panel, over a knot; feet edges with some expected wear, the back feet with later braces; the backboards with some occasional repairs, patches, and/or fill
