with a nice worn and patinated surface commensurate with age and honest use, the finish mostly even, with some lightening and rubbing to drawer fronts in particular; the upper section with evidence of formerly having dentil molding and blind fretwork to canted corners; the cornice with some minor abrasions and subtle surface losses to top edge; most of the drawers are lined with blue paper to bottom; two drawers to upper section with missing cockbeading to sides, and the cockbeading to bottom section drawers with some occasional losses or minor repairs; the brasses are replacements, with evidence of a few different pulls over time, with previous screw holes plugged, and the two short drawers at top having different pull placement at one point; there is evidence of former escutcheons over key holes; the locks appear to be later replacements; the top left-facing back edge of cornice missing a segment, and with evidence of repaired break along same piece; the left and right-facing side panels with age cracks, and some repairs evident, with a couple patches to both sides; the feet appear to be ok, and have mostly the original blocking, the back left-facing foot with a later support block
