presents very nicely, having a rich, waxed surface displaying signs of honest wear commensurate with age and use, including some subtle patination to finish, some old abrasions or surface losses along edges, particularly to fluted pilasters; the left-facing pilaster with slightly loose cornice molding; the right-facing pilaster with a loss to dentil to cornice molding; the paneled door exhibits a cross-banded border which has mild splits to veneer, but stable; with some minor occasional age cracks; the door retains original hinges and escutcheon, and includes key which functions to lock / unlock; the interior includes two scalloped shelves, and the backboard has some expected board gaps indicative of weather fluctuations over time; the bottom back corner has some loss to backboard; the backboards presently have tape covering the gaps in the boards; the top back corner with a later wood brace / segment
