stable and sturdy; with wonderful graining to wood, overall with nice even finish throughout; the top is three board, the top exhibiting some expected signs of wear included some age cracks, very minor stains, and some visible plugged pins where it has been affixed to base; the single drawer missing its brass hardware, with evidence of a couple different pulls, the two previous screw holes have been plugged / filled; proper front right hinge is replaced, and the underside of top with a few later screws for additional reinforcement; a couple missing glue blocks to underside; false drawer front to one end with missing cockbeading along side
