The set appearing in overall fairly good and stable condition. The caned seats are sturdy and can be sat upon comfortably. The feet of nearly all of the chairs with heavy flaking and loss to the black paint revealing the wood beneath. Scattered instances of loss to the gilt decoration. One of the chairs with an area of loss to the paint decoration on the top of the proper right chair back. Two of the chairs with some looseness where the back joins the seat; would benefit from stabilization. Only two of the seat with upholstered cushions present.
