The set appearing in overall fairly good condition. One of the side chairs with breaks to the caned seat; needing repair prior to use. Another chair with some give to the caned seat; likely the result of more frequent or heavier use. The other chairs are sturdy and can be sat upon. Scattered instances of flaking and loss to the gilt and painted decoration. Two examples with minor looseness where the back joins the seat; would benefit from stabilization. All of the seats have cushions. The cushions are well filled, clean, and intact. Additional images are available upon request.
