Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; localized areas of craquelures scattered throughout, with a heavier concentration through the face and body of the mother, as well as the head of the little girl, but all craquelures appear to be stable; uneven varnish application visible under raking light within the little girl's dress.
