Good. Blade moderately oxidized with patches of surface rust and roughness, retaining some of the blued finish and much of the gilt highlighting. Silver hilt deeply tarnished, grip with full-length crack on the obverse and some moderate wear. Scabbard fair, very worn and very dry showing significant finish loss and crazing and with deeply tarnished silver mounts. Scabbard has shrunk and the saber will not seat in it and will need the attention of a component leather restorer to be able to be used with the sword.
