Good. Blade moderately oxidized with patches of surface rust and roughness, retaining some of traces of the blued finish and gilt highlighting, and having a deep bluish-gray patina. Silver hilt deeply tarnished, guard quite loose. Grip with a grain crack on the reverse and some moderate wear. Scabbard very worn with traces of silver and numerous dents, dings and marks. Throat insert loose, a crack and hole are present below the lower of the three decorative bands.
