Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined and laid to board; network of craquelures throughout, which appear stable; liquid residue stains and splatters through the upper center and upper right quadrant; one small paint loss in upper left of sky; under a moderately discolored varnish. Under UV light: a horizontal tear accompanied by inpainting in the lower left corner, approximately 5 inches in length; one area of inpainting in the center of the sky, as well as additional small spots in the center left of the sky; liquid stains and craquelures along the lower center fluoresce under UV but do not appear to be inpainting.
