In generally fair to good overall condition, the relined canvas appearing to have had more than one campaign of restoration in all likelihood. The surface of the canvas retains a somewhat high gloss finish and there is visible surface craquelure in the sky and in parts of the landscape as seen in natural light. The landscape has old green varnish as seen under UV light. Within the landscape there is somewhat prominent restoration at lower left around the corner of the painting with somewhat darker purplish scattered inpainting which is likely newer retouching (as compared with some of the more muted restoration as seen under UV light). At right in part of the landscape there is more muted, probable restoration (less clear to read) as seen under UV light. There are two areas of visible restoration to the building at right along with some slight scattered retouching. In the sky there is some generally minor scattered retouching and what is likely more prominent, though less apparent restoration in sky near center, which has a more muted purplish appearance under UV light.
