Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined; passages of the canvas have been pressed due to the lining process; instances of small areas of possible over-cleaning within the foreground; one vertical area of inpainting extending along the center left edge, approximately 4 inches in length, visible under normal viewing conditions. Under UV light: the aforementioned area of inpainting fluoresces; an approximately 2 inch in length area of inpainting in the center, between the sky and tree line; small areas of inpainting through the lower portion of the composition; pinpoint spots of inpainting scattered throughout the sky, with slightly larger spots extending along the left edge.
