Minor deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is lined and passages of the canvas have been pressed due to the lining process; network of craquelures, mostly visible only in raking light. Under UV light: inpainting along most of the edges, with a larger area extending into the landscape on the center left; a few small dots of inpainting in the dog; the boy's face and blue suit appear to have been strengthened.
