Appearing in overall fair and ready to place condition. Tea caddy is heavy and very sturdy. The edges of the body and lid have negligible roughness. The proper left side of the lid with a repaired break extending from the front to the back of the lid; this most visible when lid is open and a small area of fill and two staples used to reinforce the repair are visible. There are a few small scattered repairs such as an area of fill above one foot and a superficial hairline crack on the lid. The key fits in the lock, but does not latch when key is engaged. The interior of the caddy with two compartments, each with a lid. The lids do not sit flush with the top of the compartment and are likely missing metal inserts. The lids to the compartments are cast white metal, the mounts on the exterior are a bronze and white metal. Additional images are available upon request.
