The chest appears in overall good, sturdy, and ready to place condition. The top re-finished. The case with scattered minor nicks, scuffs, and scrapes that are consistent with age and gentle use. Age cracks visible on the drawer fronts and the sides of the case. Small areas of replaced or patched veneer, the largest being an approximate one inch section of replaced inlay on the proper right side of the second drawer. Other areas of wear to the inlay on the drawer fronts, only visible upon close inspection. The brasses are replacements. The locks are also likely later. There is no key. Drawers open and close smoothly. Additional images are available upon request.
