lot 137: unexamined out of frame; professionally mounted to black background, and displayed behind plexi, framed; the colors to silk remain mostly bright and clean overall, with moderate expected fading commensurate with age; a few loose threads to wing, and the eye is cracked but stable; the black silk background with vertical tears, rippling, and some losses consistent with silk shattering over time- the edges stabilized with light black gauze material
