A small number of double-wire Bertoia side chairs were produced in early 1953. The present lot is a prototype which predates that production release and includes areas of hand-bent wire and hand-braised joints.Shea+Latone was a product design and development consultancy that helped clients develop innovative products for over 25 years before transitioning to becoming a furniture design licensing company.
