First English edition of the proceedings of the First Continental Congress, printing sections not included in Extracts From the Votes and Proceedings… (London, 1774, see lot), for the first time for the British public. Reprints the Petition from the General Congress in America to the King (pp. 57-66), the last real effort by the Continental Congress to reach a resolution for their grievances with the British Crown.
