has refinished surface; crestrail with repaired breaks at center shell and at both stile attachments; slight loss to left-facing ear; several repaired breaks to splat, with one area showing loss and an internal dowel reinforcement evident; probably with replaced corner blocks, although possibly appear to be old replacements; the knee returns along the front legs possibly replaced, with later wood shims underneath; back left-facing leg with repaired break along bottom; with replaced embroidered seat, with plywood added, the frame possibly old with some later metal L brackets added for support
