In overall good condition, with a shiny finish which betrays an excess of varnish. With small flake at upper center, and at center left along the left outer edge of the work. Examination under UV light reveals a thick layer of old greenish varnish throughout, which explains the shiny aspect of the work. We see broad inpainting along the top outer edge of the work. With minor touching up on her left shoulder. Fluorescent highlight on the girl's dress at center right. With inpainting around the main woman's shoes, and those of the girl on the left. The eyes of the latter appear to have been touched up. See Specialist's pictures for more details.
