Small ink stain affecting last letter of signature; mounted to a larger sheet; enclosed in a commemorative Topps card sleeve within PSA case, graded "NM-MT 8". Unexamined out of frame, 11 x 8 3/4 in. (279 x 222 mm).
John Witherspoon (1723-1794) was a Presbyterian minister and educator in addition to being a respected statesman. He was a long-term President at the College of New Jersey (now Princeton University), and his autograph is considered to be one of the rarest among Declaration signers.
