The bag comprised of three panels all beaded with mulitcolored flowers on stem, with beaded and hide fringe, the small Catlinite pipe with incised banding, turned pipestem.

L: 13 1/4 in. (bag)

Provenance: The Luther R. and Frances T. Zehner Collection.

Accompanied by a handwritten note: "This was Blue Thunder's pipe-a Custer scout. He gave it to Johnson Crazy Bear-he died one year ago in Bull Head when he was sick he gave it to John Shave Bear last fall."
