Appearing in overall good, sturdy, and ready to hang condition. Mirror plate appears free from cracks, chips, or breaks. Scattered instances of flaking and loss to the gilt decoration. The gilding retains an overall bright and attractive appearance. There are a few cracks in the veneer of the frame. The eagle on the top of the crest is somewhat loose and would benefit from tightening. The proper right scroll on the crest has a detached but present backing, this is not visible when the mirror is hanging. There is an old repair on the proper right side of the frame with a screw, only visible on close inspection. The backboards are possibly replaced. Additional images are available upon request.
