One of the birds is missing its back wing. That bird is also loose and needs repair to join it securely to the frame. The large upper mirror plate is a modern replacement. The lower plates are possibly original. Scattered age cracks in the giltwood elements. Two chips to the opposite bird and a small loss the end of that birds tail and an area of overpainting. The gilding is old but likely not original. The back panels have been replaced with newer framing to support the replaced glass. Additional images available upon request.
