The collection appearing in overall fairly good, stable, and ready to place condition. Scattered instances of crazing to the glaze of some examples having small flakes and chips in the glaze. Examples with the black tricorn hats have been touched up/ overpainted on the hat, visible under UV light. The lidded example has firing cracks to the interior of the body which do not appear to impact the overall stability. The example with the green coat has a firing crack running along the length of the handle but remains sturdy. Another example's handle, hat, and the figure's hair fluoresce under UV light. This does not to appear to be a restoration but rather the type of glaze. Minor shelf wear to all examples consistent with age, use, and moving. Additional images are available upon request.
