Appearing in overall fairly good condition. The glass on the hood has been replaced with plexiglass as have the side panels. The side panels of the hood would have likely originally been fabric covered with fretwork (similar to the spandrels on face of hood). The clock face has a small break to the bottom left corner. There is some crazing to roman numerals on dial. The door on the face of the clock is not secured at the top hinge. The door on front of case is warped, this is particularly visible at base of door. The door does fit onto case, but does not lock and requires additional pressure to close. The decoration on the door panel with areas of chipping, loss, and some refreshed areas of the raised decoration. The locking hardware replaced. The clock takes a wind and appears to run, striking on the hour. This clock has not been tested for timekeeping, accuracy, or duration and has not been examined by an horologist. There is some slight overlap between saddle boards and board holding works, this indicating that the works are possibly associated. The works do but show wear consistent with the rest of the clock.
