3 1/4 x 2 1/4 in. silk flag with 13 stars embroidered on canton (some light soiling to flag, edges frayed, unexamined outside frame). Housed in 8 1/4 x 6 3/4 in. frame.

Possibly produced to celebrate the Centennial, this parade flag is an example of the variety and originality with which so many flags were designed prior to the establishment of federal regulations governing the proportions and star arrangement of of United States flags.
