Fashion Designer, Artist and Creative Voice behind M2057

Fashion designer and artist Maria Pinto creates beautiful, modern fashion for women and is the creative voice behind M2057 by Maria Pinto, a ready-to-wear collection inspired by urban architecture and design. M2057 features clothing that is high fashion, high function, but low maintenance: pieces are machine washable, excellent for travel, and can effortlessly shift from day- to nighttime events. It is “fashion that keeps up with women’s busy lives.”

Maria gives women fashion that is chic, versatile, and fits all types of bodies and styles. She has dressed iconic women like First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Brooke Shields, and her designs have been featured on the hit show Empire and in publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

Maria stopped by our Couture department to preview the Luxury Accessories and Couture auction as well as our timed online only auction, Spring Staples. She picked out several favorites and loved the experience of privately viewing the sale at the auction house. “Whenever I have the wonderful opportunity to be in the same room as stunning designs like the dresses by Poiret and Callot Soeurs, it’s like standing in front of any art done by the great masters. I feel truly inspired.”
