the ovoid body rising to an elongated neck and a flared mouth, painted throughout with lotus scrolls below hanging bats, all set on a ruby-red ground, the neck applied with a pair of blue enameled ruyi scepter-form handles, the underside glazed turquoise and bearing an apocryphal Qianlong six-character iron red mark.
