A group of 3 Civil War soldier folk art wood carvings made at Andersonville Prison, Georgia.
Pair of approx. 3 1/8 in. wood carvings of men, including civilian and soldier wearing a kepi (surface wear and soiling) accompanied by an approx. 2 1/4 in. wood carving of a ball in a cage (surface wear and soiling).
The soldier and ball in a cage are pictured on page 21 of Tenting Tonight: the Soldier's Life. Alexandria, VA: Time-Life Books, 1984.
