Civil War US Regulation bugle with artillery cords. Manufactured by Horstmann, Philadelphia, PA.
19 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 in. bugle comprised of copper body with brass mouthpiece, floating rim, connectors, and 4 1/2 in. pigtail (dark patina).
Flare stamped with block letters “Horstmann” in an arc above “Phila.” Adorned with original regulation red artillery bugle cords.
