With her Spring/Summer 1997 collection, Body Meets Dress, Dress Meets Body, Rei Kawakubo used various odd shaped pillows placed throughout the torso to challenge established fashion norms and silhouettes. This collection was derided by some of the fashion community earning the moniker "lumps and bumps" collection further pointing out the dissonance between what Kawakubo sought to achieve and the current fashion climate.

This lot includes three pieces; a two piece ensemble and one jacket.
