Lot Description
[WORLD WAR II]. A group of 5 items, incl. naval pilots' wings and dragon ring.
Pilot’s wings, shield over anchor over wings, sterling. In black velveteen jewelry bag. Early safety clasp.
Pilot’s wings, gilt sterling. Marked “H-H” in star eagle, for Hilborn-Hamburger.
Camera over anchor over wings. Unofficial photographer’s wings (sometimes referred to as Aerial Recon). Chas. Fischer Mfg.
Possibly pilot/observer wings. A pin much like the French Army’s Pilot/Observer pin, but definitely American. Crossed cannons (or spyglasses? – they don’t seem to have the “ball” on the end as most cannon symbols do). Still on original card with “1/2-10K gold on sterling silver,” “American Insignia Co., New York.” Also retains clear cellophane around card. On verso stamped “$395.”
Ring with dragons on both sides, diamond shape on top. All lettering and inside information in Asian lettering (kanji or other). Possible bring-back?
