Linderman, Frank B. Blackfeet Indians. Pictures by Winold Reiss. St. Paul, MN: Great Northern Rwy., 1935.
Folio, printed paper over cloth spine, no dj, with 47 color illustrations of Blackfeet, 65, iii pp. Gift inscription on FFEP (1936), then recipient (Harry McEvoy) inscribed and gave it to Chris Schenkel (1986), signed on front pastedown. Includes a copy of McEvoy’s booklet, “Knife and Tomahawk Throwing.” Knoxville, TN: Knife World Publications, n.d. 8vo, printed wraps, 28pp. Plus a brochure “Knife Throwing in the Professional Style,” and “How to Select a Throwing Knife.” There are a number of clippings taped into the Blackfeet volume, such as information on an exhibit of twenty portraits of Glacier Park chiefs, and a note identifying several Native Americans, such as the chief who adopted Harry McEvoy as a Blackfeet member in 1929.
