Lot Description
[JACKSON, Andrew (1767-1845)]. Peace medal.
Bronze medal, 3 in. in diameter. Recto with "Andrew Jackson President of the United States A.D. 1829" and profile of Jackson. Verso with hands shaking, above are a crossed pipe tomahawk and an elbow pipe (looks like one of those little clay pipes). "Peace and Friendship." (no longer has its government presentation box)
