2 1/8 x 3 1/2 in. CDV on cardstock mount (image with light toning, some faint discoloration around portrait, with light wear to mount edges and corners). Bust portrait of "J.E.B. Stuart," as pencil identified below image. Verso with Jones & Vanerson imprint.

A rare view of Stuart (1833-1864), the famous Confederate cavalry corps commander mortally wounded at Yellow Tavern on 1 May 1864.
