日本開埠后民族工業迅速發展，西風東漸，鐘錶行業也受到影響，這件挂鐘就體現了這種碰撞。經典的車棚式木樓下，輪擺設計成吉祥的葫蘆形，白琺琅錶盤上嵌入一顆靈活的獅子頭，上弦后，一雙烏目滴溜溜亂轉，非常趣致。
