Folio. Illustrated with wood engravings by Barry Moser. Loose as issued in original blind-embossed blue wrappers (some fading and discoloration to covers).
 
LIMITED EDITION, one of 35 copies. ACCOMPANIED BY FOUR ADDITIONAL PROOF SHEETS OF THE PLATES, each captioned and signed in pencil by Moser (“a.p. Moser 1970”).  An extremely rare copy of the first book printed under the Pennyroyal Press imprint. “This was the first Pennyroyal book to use wood engravings. It was done under the aegis of graduate course in printmaking at the University of Massachusetts taught by the eminent printmaker, Fred Becker”—Pennyroyal Checklist 4.
