Contemporary calf gilt, spines gilt, red morocco letter-pieces gilt (rubbed, joints separating, some chipping to extremities). Provenance: old signature effaced; G. Abrims? (signature, 1824).

FIRST EDITION, second state with the date in title corrected in Volume II.
