FIRST AMERICAN EDITION, revised issue. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY DONLEAVY: “For Harry Walker, Jr., with highest regards J.P. Donleavy.” First published in Paris in 1955, it was banned in the US and Ireland for obscenity.
