Referred to as the “Dalai Lama” coat, a similar version was featured in Ralph Rucci: The Art of Weightlessness, a 2007 exhibition at the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. A similar example also resides in the Met collection, acc. #2007.238.2a, b.
