Lot Description
Ralph Rucci Wool and Silk Net Jacket, Spring 2011
The Spring 2011 ready-to-wear collection was inspired by the work of sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, known for his work with forms to address notions of destruction and regeneration. Rucci is frequently inspired by the realm of visual art, and here interprets Pomodoro’s work in the abstract wool cutouts affixed to sheer black tulle, seemingly disconnected from afar.
The dress shown in the images is not included with this lot.
Black wool and silk net open jacket with 3/4 length sleeves, decorative net inserts throughout the bodice, and net bottom with wool patches.
