[WESTERN AMERICANA]. A group of 8 cabinet photographs of cowboys and other western personalities, some armed, comprising:
Studio portrait of a mustached man standing and holding a Colt Lightning .22 rifle. Greencastle, IN: W.H. Lyon, n.d. Provenance: Herb Peck, Jr. Collection. Modern, handwritten note indicates that the photograph came from the collection and notes that accompanying tag identifying rifle was written in Peck's hand.
[With:] Studio portrait of a mustached gaucho wearing a large hat and decorated pants. Guadalajara, Mexico: O. de la Mora, 1884. Photographer's imprints to recto and verso. Extensive contemporary ink inscription to verso.
