[TRANSPORTATION - STAGECOACHES]. A group of albumen and silver gelatin photographs depicting stagecoaches and wagons, comprising:
Portrait of 6 people, including a Native American in a feathered headdress, with an Overland Stage Coach. N.p: N.p., n.d. 7 3/4 x 9 5/8 in. -- Outdoor image of a Surrey wagon with passengers and drivers. N.p.: N.p., n.d. 7 x 5 in. albumen on cardstock mount (crease; large loss to mount). Verso includes the names of people in pencil. -- COUPER, G.R., photographer. Outdoor portrait of several men on a multi-person horse-drawn sleigh with a train in the background. N.p., n.d. 6 3/8 x 3 5/8 in. albumen on cardstock mount (toned, soiled; chip to mount) -- Outdoor portrait of 2 women in a Concord coach with 2 men, one holding a rifle, and a boy in the driver's seat. N.p.: N.p., n.d. 6 3/4 x 5 in. silver gelatin. Provenance: Benjamin Powers (note to verso). Ink inscription notes that it is an "Old Concord that was stored in [a] barn at P. Point Calif. Said to have been burned up about 1922." -- And 10 others. Together, 14 photographs.
