the sentoku (yellow bronze) fan-shaped plaque decorated with katakiribori chiseling and gilding with a catfish swimming amongst waterweeds and eddying water, the fish’s underside inlaid in silver and the eye in gold and shakudo, signed Shunmin, with a gold seal Bizan (Funakoshi Kagaku), mounted on the original chestnut and paulownia wood frame.
