LAMOTTE, Bernard (1903-1983). Proust Portfolio: The France of Marcel Proust. [New York]: printed by Bernard Lamotte, [1950].
Large folio. 25 original copper plate etchings, each signed and numbered 56/100 in pencil by Bernard Lamotte. Loose as issued in original blue cloth folding case with red morocco label to upper cover (very slight fading and rubbing to covers and extremities). [Laid in:] Two typed letters signed “Bernard Lamotte” to Mr. Lord, 6 February 1950 and “George Macy” Director of the Limited Editions Club, to Captain C.W. Lord, 28 September 1949. Both letters requesting Mr. Lord’s advance subscription for Bernard Lamotte’s Proust Portfolio.
